Who we are

Rizzler Quizler is operated by Absaroka Data LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. When this policy refers to “we,” “us,” or “our,” it means Absaroka Data LLC.

What we collect

Poll creators (account holders):

  • Email address — used solely for authentication via magic link. We do not ask for your name, payment information, or any other personal details.

Poll participants (voters):

  • We do not collect any personal information from participants. No account, no email, no name.
  • A random, anonymous token is stored in a browser cookie scoped to the specific poll. This token is used only to prevent duplicate votes — it is not used for tracking, analytics, or identification across polls.
  • Vote content (selected option, ranking, or text response) is stored in our database and associated with the poll, not with any individual.

How we use your data

  • Email addresses are used exclusively for sending sign-in links. We do not send marketing emails.
  • Poll data (questions, options, votes) is used to operate the service — displaying results, powering real-time updates, and enabling the presenter view.
  • We do not sell, share, or rent any personal data to third parties.

Data retention

Polls and all associated data (options, votes, text responses) are automatically deleted 7 days after the poll closes. Poll creators can also manually delete their polls at any time. This service is designed for real-time, ephemeral use — not long-term data storage.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregate usage data (page views, performance metrics). We may add Google Analytics in the future for similar purposes. No analytics service has access to your poll content or vote data.

Third-party services

  • Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and real-time infrastructure.
  • Vercel — application hosting and analytics.
  • Resend — email delivery for magic link sign-in.

These services process data as necessary to operate Rizzler Quizler. We do not share data with any other third parties.

Cookies

We use cookies strictly for functionality:

  • Authentication cookies — maintain your sign-in session.
  • Voter token cookies — scoped to individual polls, prevent duplicate votes. These are httpOnly and are not accessible to JavaScript or third parties.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting.

Your rights

You can delete your polls and all associated data at any time from your dashboard. If you want to delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
